1.Why do some paper cups/bowls have a smooth film on their inner walls?
That is food grade PE coating or PLA coating, which functions to prevent oil, water, and penetration, ensuring that the container does not leak or become soft. PE film can be recycled but needs to be separated, while PLA film can be degraded under industrial composting conditions.
2.How to achieve waterproof and oil resistant performance of paper tableware?
Using food grade PE film (suitable for hot and cold drinks), PLA biobased film (compostable), or non film oil proof paper treated through special processes (suitable for dry food).
3. Do you support customized sizes, shapes, and colors?
Yes. PP products resist up to 120°C, PET PLA(biodegrdadable) Material up to 60°C , paper products up to 90°C, no softening, leakage or harmful substances released.
Paper cups and bowls: Lined with food-grade PE film, suitable for hot beverages up to 90°C, with good heat insulation and leak-proof performance.
All products have passed strict high-temperature resistance tests to meet commercial and household use requirements.
4. Are your products suitable for catering and takeaway?
It is widely used in restaurants, fast-food chains, catering companies, takeaway businesses, hotels, airlines, supermarkets and convenience stores.
We only adopt high-quality virgin food-grade resin that meets global safety standards, and strictly prohibit the use of recycled materials or any harmful additives, ensuring that the products are non-toxic, tasteless and safe for long-term food contact.
5.Is paper tableware recyclable?
Clean, uncontaminated paper tableware (such as dry takeaway paper bags, paper trays) can theoretically be recycled. However, paper products heavily contaminated with oil and food (such as pizza boxes and coated paper bowls) can reduce the quality of recycled pulp, which many recyclers do not accept and should be treated as other types of waste.
