This 500ml oval-shaped paper food container strikes a perfect balance between functionality and an attractive appearance. Made from local pulp, this natural, renewable, and food safety standard certified material without harmful chemical additives is what gives the product its strength.
Inner lining: Food-grade PE film is laminated on the innermost wall, giving the lunch box oil, water resistance, and preventing leakage properties. It can be safely used with soup or oily food (such as braised dishes, salad dressings, etc.).
Elliptical shape: An ellipse is a shape intermediate between a circle and a rectangle, and this shape has proven to be better for placing irregularly-shaped foods (e.g., chicken feet, block-shaped meat, deboned ingredients) thus even food shaking can be reduced; In addition, it also evokes visually the idea of "softness" thereby enhancing the overall look of the food.
Matching transparent lid: The lids are made of food-grade PP/PET materials, so dishes can be clearly seen, and visually displayed. The cardboard has a snap-fitted rim that allows the lid to fit tightly and securely with the box body, thus, reducing the possibility of leakage and oxidation (which is spoilage of food).
Capacity variation: 500ml provides a "medium portion" sized meal which is just right for a main meal of one person (such as braised chicken or one box of braised dishes) or smaller side dishes such as salads and desserts. It is also suitable for food portions for takeout and personal use.
Heat resistance: With the heat resistance of approximately 100-120 °C, this makes it possible to store a hot meal (like freshly cooked dishes), and the food container can be (with the lid removed) microwaved for a short time (to avoid steam buildup).
Oil and water resistance: The inner PE film acts as a very strong barrier against grease and soup penetration. Even with "heavy oil and heavy juice" type foods, such as oily noodles and braised pork belly, the box body will hardly become soft and leak.
Great for Chinese takeout meals: e.g., braised dishes (braised chicken feet, soy eggs), stews, etc. The oval shape not only accommodate more comfortably fit the bones and irregular parts of such dishes but also make the dish look more enticing.
Also suitable for light meals: Dishes served can be salads, grilled vegetables, pasta in small quantities, etc. The transparent cover will showcase the color scheme of the dishes and attract the customers.
Furthermore, special snacks/desserts are also within reach such as braised dishes, pudding, small cakes, etc. The China-Chic style can raise the "snack bar" brand message and make it stand out from other brands.
Made out of safe materials, excellent design, good performance, and diverse uses are some of the things that have placed this oval paper lunch box as a very good packaging option for takeout, dine-in, home storage, and other occasions. Implementation-wise, a catering business will find this application particularly useful for their environmental+appearance+practicality "which is their core value" consumers.

FAQ
Q: Of what materials are disposable paper bowls mainly composed?
A: Disposable paper bowls are mostly made of food-grade virgin wood pulp board or plant-based fibres like sugarcane bagasse (sugarcane pulp). The outer surface could be covered with a waterproof and grease-resistant layer (such as a biodegradable PLA film or a water-based one).
Q: Are paper bowls capable of holding hot soup without leaking?
A: Definitely! By special waterproof and grease-resistant treatments, our paper bowls can contain boiling water without leaking or getting soft.
Q: Are the paper bowls compatible with microwave oven heating?
A: Most all-fibre paper bowls without the PE coating can be heated in the microwave for a short time; those with the PLA coating can be microwaved too, but it is recommended not to heat them at high temperatures or for a long duration. Products with traditional PE coatings are not microwave safe.
Q: Can paper bowls be used in an oven?
A: No. Paper bowls do not withstand oven or grill temperatures above 100–120°C. They are not suitable for use over open flames.
Q: What are the available sizes for the paper bowls?
A: Common sizes range from 8 oz (approx. 237 ml) to 50 oz (approx. 1500 ml), covering small sauce bowls, medium-sized soup and noodle bowls, and large salad or family-sized bowls.
